Converse Spectre “Dr.J” Curation

We have taken on the task of curating an ultra slim selection of vintage Converse pair from the early to mid eighties and reworking them in true PE form. This collection is set to release tentatively this spring (quality must be exemplary). The Doctor Julius Erving was the paragon of style and flair during his prime days with the New Jersey Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. We are customizing his last personalized shoe with Converse, named the “Spectre”, but we also have a few others on deck as well. It’s been a fun time to partake in this small project to honor the predecessor of one of my favorite players, Michael Jordan.

This is the first prototype to release in this aged white and gray color way. Logo was redone in Angelus leather paint.

We decided to preserve the original aesthetic, thus the aged sole in yellow and the exposed glue, along with discoloration of the laces, making it even more pulchritudinous! This pair is a 1 of 1, no before it and likely none to come!

The ankle collar leather looks premium as well, nothing used to ameliorate it, just the original condition! Release date will be announced soon…Please subscribe to the email list and be in the know of more obscure products and store information.
